How do we travel to ONE KANGAROO ISLAND?

BY PLANE:
Qantas currently operates on a regular basis from Adelaide Airport to Kingscote on Kangaroo Island (on Wednesdays and Fridays). See the Qantas website for more information. If you require airport transfer, we recommend contacting either KI Transfers or Exceptional Kangaroo Island. Alternatively, there are car rental operators in Kingscote and Penneshaw. The drive from Kingscote Airport to both ONE KI and WALCOWRIE is approximately 25 minutes.

 

BY SEA:
If you are travelling via car, Sealink operates ferries to and from the island, running between Cape Jervis (on the Fleurieu Peninsula) and Penneshaw. The drive from Adelaide to Cape Jervis is approximately two hours. The ferry crossing is 45 minutes. Alternatively, for those travelling without a vehicle, Kangaroo Island Connect offers a passenger ferry service between Cape Jervis and Penneshaw, as well as car rental on the island. From Penneshaw, both ONE KI and WALCOWRIE are a short 10 minute drive.
